GIT workshop
After the success of the PowerBI and Time Series workshop, we would like to introduce you to the next workshop again given by Danielle Paes Barretto. You’re invited to join us for an engaging session on Git and its uses for data science projects!
During this workshop we will walk you through the basics of Git and how it can help you keep track of and collaborate on data science projects like a pro. We’ll cover topics such as:
- Installing and configuring Git
- Setting up repositories locally and on GitHub
- Saving changes
- Rewriting history
- Inspecting repositories
- Undoing changes
- Collaborating with others
- Syncing
- Making pull requests
- Using branches.
Git is the industry-standard version control system, and with its simple commands and structure, it’s an incredibly useful tool for any data science project. Come learn why it’s so important and how to get started. Plus, there will be plenty of hands-on exercises so you can practice applying what you learn.
To make sure that we have sufficient coffee, thee and something sweet to increase the energy, you can sign up until the 21st of September.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please let us know. See you there!
